Dr. Andrea values the genuine connection she has with each of her patients. She also values the opportunity to dive deeply into her patients’ health to uncover the causes of dysfunction as well as any obstacles that are getting in the way of attaining their goals. With her nurturing and motivating approach, she walks alongside her patients each step of the way, providing a non-judgemental space where her patients feel heard, empowered and safe to open up and ask questions.

Dr. Andrea believes that health is a state of resilience; an ability to adapt to the many stressors of our time, while still living a life we love. To help her patients achieve this, she uses clues from her patients’ unique stories and physical profiles, and applies her intuition, critical thinking, and evidence-based knowledge to guide treatment plans. She has various tools and strategies to help offer her patients relief in the short term and combines these with long-term therapies aimed at restoring and sustaining health. Her main area of focus is the digestive system, particularly the microbiome, and how this interplays with mental and cognitive health, metabolism, energy, and hormones. Dr Andrea also maintains that the way we think, the way we feel, and our ability to regulate ourselves can have a huge impact on our health and well-being, and takes time to understand a patient’s mental and emotional state as part of her holistic assessment and care.

In her spare time, she enjoys being active in nature with her family, deep conversations or dancing up a storm with her friends, and being cozied up with her two kids and a cup of coffee.
